  Hi John, this model comes with 2 magazines an 3 dot sights.
  Item 100719 comes with 3 magazines and night sights.
  Other than that they are the same, so it's a no-brainer to get 100719 for $50 less.

  This has no manual thumb safety. This has internal safeties to keep it from firing if dropped. Hope this helps.

• Q: Does this pistol also shoot 357 SIG, if so, would I need to purchase 357 speciric mags?

  it does not shoot the 357 sig cartridge (as it is set up) . you would need to install a 357 sig barrel and recoil spring the 40 S&W and the 357 sig use the same magazine so you would not need a magazine

  Timothy, Yes the Model 11687 has the manual safety and is $150 more then this Model 11684 without manual safety.

  No Joshua, S&W got smart on the M&P 2.0 version. They even took away the magazine disconnect. They are listening more to their customers than the lawyers. Good for S&W!
