Buying from Buds was super easy they did a great job from time of order to time of delivery my Mossberg MVP scout is a great gun the long eye relief scope allows me to shot right handed using my left eye because my blindness in right eye

Economical bolt action. Scout carbine is accurate well beyond 100 yards, Scope set up is easy on the eye and allows for quick target acquisition.

Bought this exact one back in 2018, more then 5k rounds through this rifle and its still going on strong and great groupings at 300yrds. If you can find them in stock, buy it!

As usual, Buds always has the best prices, easy ordering, and quick delivery making the entire process very simple....wish I could say the same about Mossberg's customer service. Upon receiving the rifle and bringing it home, found the bolt finish had been rubbed off and looked bad for a brand new rifle, so QC wasn't done properly before they packed/shipped. I contacted Mossberg about the issue and response back was for me to ship the gun back to them for repair. I asked if they'd simply send me a new bolt and I'd send them this one back. I'm not really interested in shipping entire rifle and waiting around for them to repair and ship back...well, they wouldn't do it, so this will be my first and last Mossberg purchase...other than that, gun shoots well and package w/scope price is a nice deal...again Buds is the best...and Mossberg isn't....

Shipped with the Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x Dead Drop BDC not a scout scope as pictured on the Mossberg website. The scope has inadequate relief to be used in the configuration shown. Why Mossberg would install a conventional scope on a Scout Rifle is beyond me. Especially when Vortex makes a good scout scope.

I like this scout rifle. The trigger is crisp maybe 4lbs with no creep.the bolt action is carry is clean and travels well. This scout has a 12 inch pictinny rail so you can adjust for eye relieve.the Ruger has that mid rail so you have to buy an after market rail to bring the scope in or remove the iron sites. I’m getting older and that mid rail just isn’t giving me a fast site picture like it did when these eyes were 30. Speaking of iron sites, the iron sites on this MPV are excellent and with the scope you still get a clear open view. The Vortex scope is an great companion for this rifle. 2x-7x is perfect for ranges of 150 to 300 yards. This is a good buy and and Buds price was great and they shipped it within a week. I own both the Ruger and the Mossberg and they are both in 308 and they both perform very well. If you are looking for a great bargain, it’s the mossberg, if you got a few extra bucks go stainless and go Ruger. However, the Mossberg,MPV Scout rifle comes with a scope, great iron sites,threaded barrel , shoot great, and won’t break the bank.

First and foremost BudsGunShop folks are awesome. You just cannot beat there prices. This scout rifle does not disappoint. Smooth bolt action with a badass Vortex Scope 7x32. For anyone getting this as their first bolt action rifle, I highly recommend it. Get this package with the scope. Easy to sight in and high quality for the price.
