This rifle has 2 Allen screws holding the barrel to the action. It looks like there are a number of after market barrel manufactures selling "drop in" replacement barrels that fit the CZ-455.

No difference in quality you will love the CZ 22 rifles. The finish on both is great. I prefer the standard

I have only put about 100 rounds down range with the CZ-455. I am a little chagrined about the lack of magazines that are available, and their cost. But, so far it seems as if it is a real tack-driver. Easy to operate and would make an excellent gun for a beginner. I have not yet mounted a scope on it, but intend to.
