My hands are lmuch larger than normal. Will I be able to grasp / fire this thing without losing control of the weapon?

Jim, yes Sir. I'm a 6.6 Country Boy with large hands and the grips are comfortable with no slippage.

Jim, Yes you should be able to control this firearm with a good firm grip. Large hands should not be a big detriment in gripping this revolver. I just use a 2 finger grip on most small revolvers. This one is larger. This grip is very tacky and grippy. You should not have any problem.

Will 3 inch slugs, rifles or none rifled, work?

Joseph, "Foster Type" Rifled slugs are fine as I shoot those. Non Rifled works too and if you use "Rifled", make sure the rifling on the slug is not opposite you barrels rifling of accuracy will be all over the place.

yes with the 3 inch chamber it can fire 3 inch or the 2 1/2 inch .410 shells with no problems
