I purchased this Weatherby Orion Sporting 12ga Shotun for shooting sporting clays to use as a replacmeent to the older CZ Drake O/U left hand model. First time on the course, the Weatherby functioned very well. I was very pleased I did purchased this shotgun. I enjoyed the feel of this shotgun each time I pulled the trigger. The comb was adjusted to my liking and was glad it was adjustable to suite my shooting style. When reloading after each shot, the automatic ejectors performed as designed. With roughly 350 shells shot so far, not only enjoyable to shoot sporting clays but easy to clean afterwards. I cannot compare this over and under shotgun to other manufacturers other than my older CZ; but for me, this is an excellent and great quality shotgun. I would by this shotgun over and over again. I certainly like the ease and convenience of buying firearms and ammo online from Bud's Gun Shop. I have been doing this for about 11 years now and will continue to do so in the future.

You have found a GREAT GUN for the money. I believe it is one of the best guns I have ever owned. Wanted to get an over / under for the club and if you are on the fence....Pull the Trigger! You can't go wrong. A couple thousand rounds through and not one misfire or issue! Was a fantastic purchase. No regrets. I reviewed some videos and in my opinion I bought the best gun for $1,000 that I could buy in the over under sporting category.

Wow this is a really nice shotgun very well made for the price all the fit is good then it shoots really well I've had no issues the fact I own two of these guns. You're looking for an over and under shotgun at a reasonable price this is one good choice

Bought this gun mainly for sporting clay events and 5 stand. I have been very happy with the gun so far. Have about 500 shells down it at this time and haven’t had any issues. The balance for me (6 foot tall male) is very good, doesn’t feel too nose heavy and is very easy to swing to pick up the clays. Trigger feels nice and smooth with no issues. Don’t have any complaints with the trigger. Never feels like I’m missing clays because of any jerking or anything like that. Having the adjustable comb, which is one of the reasons I went with this gun, is a game changer coming from not having one. I knew it was something I always wanted, but a lot of over under with adjustable combs are about triple the price of the weatherby. One note I do have is the underside of the adjustable comb is not coated like the rest of the stock. In no way a deal breaker for me, but something to note. Overall very happy with my purchase. Had been debating on the Orion sporting for a while and very happy I finally did it. It’s nice to see an over under with all these features at a fair price point for those who don’t have $3000+ to spend on an over under.

Look under the Cheek rest or colm before you accept this shot gun. It looks line a 3 year old applied the clear and stain. I called to have it fixed because it looked like it would peel off. The customer service person told me it would take four weeks just to look at it period I asked why they had a 4 week back log, there was no response. The shotgun looks really bad when you lift the comb. It's obvious that it's not made in the US by craftsman. There is no protection on her underneath. The metal parts and comb so I took it apart sanded everything carefully and stained it myself. Dont buy this unless you are an experienced woodworker.

I'm really enjoying this Purchase so far. First I'd like to say, that a usual, Bud's got my order out right away. I received it at my FFL location about 3 days quicker than a gun ordered from an online Bud's competitor.
