This rifle is GREAT perfromer. I have been very impressed with this caliber and cannot believe that it is not more popular. This finish is like a light slate grey so I am glad I did NOT purchase a silver finished scope. I put a Redfield Revolution MADE IN USA 3x9x40 matte finished scope on it and it looks great I could not be happier. Right now experimenting with handloads etc so I cannot comment of the expected superb accurracy at this point, but I'm sureit will not let me down. I am glad I puled the trigger (which is smooth and breaks nicely for a hunting rifle) on this one I really enjoy making 35 whelen rounds out of my 30-06 brass. Happy with my purchase I would buy again without hesitation.
