A:These are 45 caliber rifle bullets for the 45-70. 45 caliber pistols bullets are .451"-.452" diameter and will not work in the rifle which is .458" diameter. If you try to use pistol bullets they will not stay in the 45-70 cases because the expander die will size the cases bigger than the .451" bullets.See 1 more answer |
