This review covers the Savage Model 12 FCV .223 Rifle. #18902. On-line ordering was a breeze. Recommend you go with one of Bud’s preferred FFL dealer to have your firearm sent to. I went with the E-check option for payment to save a little money. It took a total of 5 days for the check to clear and for Buds to start the shipping process. I received updates via email each step of the way. I received a call from the FFl dealer the day the rifle arrived. The rifle came as advertised and appeared undamaged during shipping (the box it came in, however, was pretty banged up from its journey). For buyer info, the Savage FCV .223 comes with the Accutrigger, Accustock, heavy 26” fluted barrel and beavertail stock. Barrel rate of twist is 9. The overall look of the rifle is very nice. Its weight is listed at 9 lbs but it feels lighter than that when shouldered. Balances nice too. Can’t wait to shoot it! I'll submit a separate review on its handling after putting in some range time. I expect no problems. Thanks Buds!

Matched this rifle with Nikon scope. Excellent results first day at range had sighted everything in at 100 yard in 10 shots and shot consistently from that point on. Was very impressed with rifle looking forward to hunting with it. Excellent quality for a very resonable price, highly recommended.
