Savage did well with this rifle, I couldn't be more please. I purchased this in Rugar .204 it's has been the local Coyotes worst nightmare. Although a little on the heavy side the accuracy is Phenomenal. Out of the box very accurate shooter.

This thing is a tack driver, prairie dogs out to 500 yards are no problem. I have several AccuTrigger guns and I have had to tension this trigger a few times. The sear would drop and would take a cycle of the bolt sometimes several times before I could get a solid pull. Yes, I was pulling level and center and not to the side. I do have several Savage's and this issue has only affected this one rifle, every cleaning I tension the trigger back to four pounds, much lighter and I get the premature sear drop.
