Discontinued This is a special limited version of the Citori White Lightning with a feature set that is considered classic in many ways. Of course, the main distinction of the Citori White Lightning is its white, nitride-finished receiver. The beautiful contrast is stunning and is the reason White Lightning concept has so much appear. 

Fast handling. The rounded pistol grip offers a more open grip than full pistol grip designs. Many shootersfeel this gives a slight speed-to-shoulder advantage. It represents a midpoint in design between ultra-speedy straight grips and extremely stable full pistol grips. It offers excellent control for whatever you are after --  fast-flying waterfowl, upland game or just shooting fun. Matching the rounded pistol grip is the forearm. It is nicely rounded at the fore-end and together, they give the Lightning name to this over under. This look and quality have long been the choice of serious hunters and noted gun writers over the years.

Gun shoots very well. I have shot about 200 rounds so far with no problems. 12-gauge gun does have a factory recoil pad. Gun doesn't have a mid-sight pin. I love the Lighting stock. If you have smaller hands I would go with the Lighting stock.

I wanted a Browning Citori for some time and I am really more pleased after purchasing at Bud's (perfect shipping, perfect gun condition, on time delivery, Thanks again Bud's)) Fit and finish is awesome, I am impressed with the engraving I only had to have my name engraved. Not too much Highlighted Gold engraving to look gaudy, just enough. I have had this gun for one year / 2 bird seasons and have already taken Grouse and Ring neck with it. Balanced and accurate, I would definitely recommend.

    Hi Matt, this is neither a 525 (no longer in production) or a 725. The White Lightning is it's own model, there is no 725 White Lightning. Bud's has the incorrect description for this gun.

  • Q: Does this have a steel receiver, and a barrel selector when the safety is engaged.

    Joe, yes to both. It has a natural color steel receiver and trigger guard that are protected from corrosion by a durable coating process called a "silver nitride" finish, and you can select barrels by moving selector left or right when it’s in the rear-safe position.
