I'm a fan of 1911 45acp. The Taylor and Company 1911 Traditional is what I believe to be one of if not the finest 1911 in its price range.In fact as one reviewer commented that " it rivals models in the 800 dollar range with its build tightness and quality ". I tend to agree as the quality is impressive. On the range it delivers everything one could want in terms of smooth shooting and accuracy. This is a fantastic entry into the 1911 world.Experienced 1911 owners will like the Taylor also.I'm very happy with this purchase from Buds.

as usual fast shipping. Pistol exceeded my expectations, fit and finish was perfect. Haven’t fired it yet, but from all I have read I expect it to perform flawlessly. Would recommend anyone wanting a close replica mil spec 1911 to latch on to one of these.

Bought this for use as a range warrior piece where i dont feel the need to be as careful against scratches such as on my Les Baer or Dan Wesson. This pistol fit this meed fine. Feels tight and quality is impressive for the price point. Only thing is I’ll need to paint the front sight to enhance its ease of pick up.

This 1911 by Taylors & co, is a great vaue from Buds. It is almost a carbon copy of origional 1911. It shoots great and is a lot of at the range. One of the best bargins out there. I highly reccomend it,

My dad returned from WWII in 1945 with his government issued 1911. When I was grown up I shot that pistol on various occasions. It mysteriously disappeared many years ago. I have two other brothers who are not above suspicion. Any ways, I brought this gun just off the picture and how it was just the plain jane gun that came home with my Dad! I have been Cowboy Action shooting along with Wild Bunch. This gun has worked flawlessly and used only commercial ammo up till now. It has never jammed, Failed to Fire or eject. Now that I do the loading it should do just that and be even more accurate. I looks and feels exactly the same as the Army Issue with exception of the grips.
