I've been using winchester ballistic silver tips in several calibers. But the .243 is a power house. It's amazing how accurate the 95 grain bullet is. I can put three shots at 100 yards and cover them with a dime.why winchester would discontinue them outrages me. There hard to find bullets but when you do strike fast, because alot of people love them.

Great round for whitetail deer. Flies straight and flat. We use this round in .243, .270, and 308 for hunting deer with my son and grand kids.

I have used the Winchester Ballistic Silvertip products for all of my hunting rifles and I cannot say anything bad about them. You need to be careful because some of the products are fragmenting bullets, vs the controlled rapid expansion bullets that I recommend. As long as I do my part, these bullets have what it takes. I use the bullets in .223, 243, .270, 30-06, and 7mm mag, and I have not been disappointed yet.

Ammo is the best for Winchester rifles, it's the only brand that would my rifle shoot groups in half inch group. Tried other brands an they would not keep a good group,
