I always wanted a SBH and with buds great price I was able to get one. It arrived at my FFL dealer supper fast and in a custom hard case. It’s a really strong and well built revolver and handles the magnum round’s better than my old hands and arms do.

The Super Blackhawk is extremely accurate and a great shooting gun. It is very tight, no rattles, no plastic, a well made gun. This pistol is powerful enough to use for big game hunting. I purchased it exclusively for a carry gun around my hunting camp in southwest Texas which has mountain lions and bear. This gun is beautifully built, well balanced, and a blast to shoot, however it does have a nice kick to it. This is the third gun I have purchased from Bud's, I am very pleased with the fast shipping and outstanding customer service.

The gun took about 2 weeks to come, but it was definitely worth it. First coming out of the box, it looked so much better than the picture on here. The wood has a really nice look to it. There is a very small amount of play associated with the revolving cylinder on full lock-up, but not enough where it appears to be any kind of issue. I fired 100 rounds and it worked flawlessly. If you are using hot rounds, it'll give a good kick; however, using 44 special or a tamer 44 mag makes this gun really fun just to go around plinking. I was stuck between getting a revolver with a loading gate (such as the Blackhawk) or a swinging revolver, but the loading gate style makes cleaning the gun easy. All guns are accurate of course, but this gun is precise! I'm planning on mounting a scope and trying my luck at deer hunting with it. All in all, it's a very classy design and works well.

This is the third gun i have purchased from Bud's, and as always the service and price was great. The gun showed up in perfect condition. this is the 3rd 44- mag I have owned and Ruger makes the best and strongest gun i have ever owned. I reload all my ammo and this gun can take anything you put in it. My next purchase will be the Ruger 45 long colt for cowboy shooting.

I like the fact that you can shoot 44 specials in this gun. I started out using 44 mag. 180gr. and after 10 rounds I was starting to feel the effect of the kick on my hand, but no complaints. I bought some 44 special 165gr FTX and will see how it does later tonight. I love this gun and will order again to get my CC gun.
