Excellent small caliber pistol . Very accurate in mid range target shooting . I have had no problems with this pistol and have shot over 400 rounds through it.

Worthless. Tried many different types of high velocity ammo. Still FTF. Took to a gunsmith to save $50 shipping back to Chiappa. Still no good. Steer clear and spend the money for a Browning. This gun is bad.

I did not receive the Chiappa 1911 .22 I ordered. But, I couldn't be happier. The one I received had fiber optic sights, a rail, combat hammer, and skeletonized trigger. It was not pictured in the models available. I would give it 5 Stars, except there was some corrosion on the frame. It was easily cleaned off and touched up. The fiber optic sights are really good and are fully adjustable. The trigger is light and very smooth. I was able to get 3 inch groups, dead center of the target, at 30 yards. This is one accurate .22 1911. I put 100 rounds of mixed ammo though it for break-in, CCI Mini-Mags, Remington Golden Bullets, Federal Target, and Remington Viper. The pistol liked the CCI's the best. I had 3 stovepipes and 2 FTF's total. I am very satisfied with my purchase and Buds service. This is my 4th Chiappa 1911 .22 and if you use the right ammo they are reliable and fun to shoot.

This pistol does NOT like normal 1050 fps to 1280 fps ammo. Major failures to eject with Remington Golden Bullet (1200) and Federal Auto Match (1280). However, Use of CCI Velocity (1435), CCI Stinger (1640), or Aguila Super Max (1750) makes this pistol shine. No malfunctions, and good accuracy. I really like the sights that come with this. Especially the adjustable rear Target sight. You also get a small bag of various front sights, from solid blade to fiber optics.. With the right ammo, this is a keeper.

A surprisingly fun and so far reliable plinker. Classic 1911 look, light weight, easy to see red/green dayglo sights, 2 - 10 round mags, crisp, no creep trigger. Has handled steady diet of CCI Stingers without fail. Buds unbeatable prices and fast ship best deal by far on the internet. My 6th Buds purchase with more to come. Really enjoy the 'make an offer' buy option.
