22TCM is fun to shoot and makes a great fireball!

After 6 months and a bit over 5,000 rounds I have found this to be an outstanding pistol. It comes with options standard that I am accustomed to seeing on 1911’s that are twice the price or more. Things like full length one piece guide rod, ambidextrous thumb safeties, adjustable rear and fiber front sites, flared magwell, and g10 grips. The trigger is one of the better factory triggers I’ve run across, the sear was crisp, sharp, and square, it didn’t need any stoning at all. I chose this model to have the full length dust cover, mainly for the extra weight below the muzzle but admittedly because it looks cool too. I bought it for shooting Steel Challenge and USPSA in single-stack division, and also to teach my two son’s how to master pistol shooting. Both have come to love shooting it, and I’m finding that I no longer have a 1911, they’re both claiming it as theirs… This one also comes with a 22TCM barrel and spring, so I picked up a few boxes to play with. It’s a LOT of fun to shoot. Extremely accurate, flat shooting, yada yada yada all the good things you can see on YouTube or in a dozen articles. Here’s the plain honest truth. Who doesn’t love shooting a round that has a really loud bang, gives you a fireball about the size of a basketball, and all with almost no kick whatsoever. The recoil is actually just a touch more than a .22LR out of a light pistol. All in all, you can spend double on a Kimber, or triple on a Nighthawk, but you’d be splitting hairs if you actually think they could make you shoot better. Better to save the extra money to spend on ammo, this one is so much fun to shoot you’ll end up needing it.

Fun. Two guns in one. The gun fires 22tcm and 22tcm9r. Plus 9mm with the second barrel and spring. The ambidextrous safety gets in the way. At least 200 round break in for the tcm. Only one mag. Slide doesn't stay open on last round with tcm.
