Chiappa Little Badger Deluxe 9mm Flobert Break Open Rifle - Blue/Black, 24" Barrel, 1 Round

I just purchased one of these Little Badgers chambered in 9mm Flobert. In general, I am pleased with the fit and function of this little gun. The only problem noted was that, for a new gun, the bore was very filthy. The bore, as received, looked like 3000 rounds had been fired and then the gun shipped without cleaning. The crud was so thick that a 9mm brush could not be forced into the bore. I started cleaning with a .30 cal. brush and worked up from there. Fortunately, the deep crud did not pit the bore. After getting a good cleaning, the bore proved to be nice and shiny. A .40 cal. brush will now go through the bore with but modest effort. Still, the filthy bore was the only downside. Everything else looks and functions well. I look forward to taking it to the range and firing it.
