I love it. It came in pristine condition and it's one of the most beautiful firearms i've ever owned.

This is a pretty decently large rimfire rifle and definitely a faithful replication of the original German STG-44/MP-44, which was a centerfire, select-fire rifle during World War 2. No joke- this firearm weighs nearly 9.5 pounds unloaded, so don't go expecting anything less or much lighter (such as S&W M&P15-22 or Ruger 10/22) to carry. Chambered in .22 LR, it's a blast at the range and fun to plink with. Almost zero recoil because of the weight alone. Mine was a Tan/FDE frame color upon shipping rather than a mattalic black frame I originally browsed. See photos, including it's importer: BLS or GSG factory box with "Made in Germany" sticker. It's a semi-automatic only rifle, has great capacity (25 rds), which is close to the original 30 rds. Sights are adjustable only on the rear for both elevation and windage; front hooded post/sight blade is molded into the rifle. The entire rifle is made of aluminum alloy metal with real wood grip panels and a detachable wood buttstock (though detaching it is for cleaning, and a retention pin is all there is holding it together). Charging handle is only on the left side (like original), but you can lock it back and up to reload, then HK slap it- it really works and is fun!! Easy push button for magazine release just barely above the mag well. The handguard is made of stamped thinned steel, just like the original. Includes a sling swivel and carved out sling hole in the buttstock for adding an optional sling. NOTE: the only thing made of plastic for this firearm is the single magazine included. It has a tab follower to help load the single stacked .22LR rounds more easily. I really do love the attention to detail on this gun, as it definitely turned a couple heads at the range due to curiosity. Not a perfect representation, but close to it. The sheer bulk weight is the only reason I knocked a star off, but adds to the realism of a classic war rifle. As my second firearm I've purchased on Bud's, I gotta say: it's totally worth the price for both WW2 fans and .22 rimfire lovers. B
