The Forged GROM AK rifle in 7.62x39 is a new offering from Pioneer Arms. The GROM rifle now allows you to have a Hellpup AK Pistol style firearm in rifle form giving you more freedom to customize. Featuring a traditional AK rear receiver tang and a pinned and welded barrel extension making this a 16 rifle the GROM gives a very different aesthetic and form factor with it's hooded 90 degree front sight block. This model comes configured with a SVRN aluminum picatinny quad rail telescoping DLG AR butt stock attached via aluminum buffer tube that screws into the traditional rear receiver tang (allowing easy conversion to other butt stock options) dual rear sling swivel attachment points side-mounted traditional AK Optics Rail and Pheonix Technologies ergonomic pistol grip. Additional free goods included in the box are an SVRN rear-sight replacement picatinny rail for usage with red dot and scope options mounted directly to the front trunnion rail shims in case adjustments need to be made and rubber rail scales for a more comfortable grip. Overall this creates a distinctly utilitarian and customizable AK allowing for new attachment options via picatinny rail and sling options via the dual sling loops and butt stock QD holes.
