It's pretty easy to install; there are a bunch of YouTube videos showing exactly how to do it. Make sure you have some punches since you'll need them. Beretta send this off with doubles of each pin and spring in case you lose them (very thoughtful). All in all it's a fun little project.

This converts a 92 F model to G where the safety lever becomes a decocking lever. After pushing it down to drop the hammer, it will spring back up automatically so the pistol is always ready to fire. Be aware that if using this on a slightly wider Brigadier slide that you will want to take a metal file and carefully file down the part that goes on the right side of the slide so it won't rub. I took off 0.005" with a metal file easily and then reblued it with a gun blue pen. If you don't want to do that filing, there are aftermarket G kits from Wilson Combat that don't have a right side lever to worry about.

Great product at a great price. Do the work on a hard floor so you can find the detents when they go flying, and they will go flying. They include extras of each type. Make sure to watch the installation instructions. I had problems with the trigger engaing after install due to not seating the decocker all the way into the slide. I removed it and reinstalled it. Works perfectly now. I don't know why I ever bought a beretta with a decocker/safety, it's absolutely wothless. Installing this and the McCarbo trigger kit has made my 96 a joy to shoot.

I have a Girsan Regard that I put this in. It fit perfectly. Nothing needed to me modified to make it fit. Beretta gives you two of everything, just in case. It was a good thing because one of my springs went flying. Great product! It's nice to not have to deal with a safety anymore.
