I have been acquainted with firearms since the 1970's and have bought and shot up a LOT of ammo since then. I wanted a 'thumper' upper for the AR15 platform and after much research decided on the 12.7 x 42 aka. .50 Beowulf as being the best all around candidate. Since then, I have bought several different brands of ammunition in this calibre and this Underwood ammo is almost like handloads. The chronograph tells the tale and this ammo is VERY consistent in its velocity and at 50yds i can get one large, ragged hole, with the particular ammo that my rifle likes, and at 100yds its a decent cloverleaf of just over 1" MOA which is just fine for my usage.
I have used other brands and comparable loads that cost double, sometimes, of what this Underwood ammo does and they don't yield any better or more consistent results...so why pay more?
I examine all the ammo I buy and I have never had even a 'dinged' case out of any of the Underwood ammo I've bought.
WOULD recommend.
