I only shot 14 of them, because they were so pricey. But they all seemed fine.

First purchase of this 44 special ammunition, and no real complaints other than the price point for 20 rounds. It’s reflective of the market and lower at Bud’s than anywhere else. The ammunition was accurate in both short and long model 69’s and the recoil was very manageable. Second and third shots were easier to maintain on target than expected with a relatively hot 44 special round. No method to personally test expansion of the bullet, but the Underwood bullet routinely gets high marks from internet testing sites. The ammunition fired clean and overall I was impressed with the cartridge. The price per round keeps me from maintaining a high quantity of the rounds on hand, but I will keep some available for my personal carry weapons.

Potent medicine for four and two-legged predators. This is my standard load for my backup S&W Model 69. As Karl Malden said, "Don't leave home without it." Underwood has gone the extra mile with this load.
