A great shooter but seems to like only CCI Standard Velocity ammunition. Using CCI SV, it is extremely reliable and very accurate. If you plan to add the optional Walther Picatinny Rail, be aware that you cannot fully break down the pistol because the rail is too wide to remove the slide. I had to cut the rear half of the rail off to provide enough room to adequately clean the gun. Don't know why Walther does not disclose this in their ads for the rail which is almost impossible to find. All that being said, it is very comparable to the Beretta 87 Target and the S&W Model 41 in every respect and a great rimfire.
