Barrett’s MRAD Single Mission Rifle or SMR delivers the same long-range performance of the standard MRAD in a simplified and more affordable package. The SMR differs from the MRAD in two ways: the buttstock is fixed and rifle is confined to a single caliber, as opposed to the MRAD’s folding stock and multi-caliber capabilities.
