I’ve hunted with a 308 caliber model 70 for over 50 years and it’s never let me down. I decided to buy the 6.5 creed-more caliber in my new model 70 over the 308 because of what the industry experts say about it having less recoil, a flatter trajectory with better accuracy over 200 yards. After my first trip to the range I realized the new model 70 was a bit lighter, has a smoother bolt action, and a nice feeling trigger-pull. After adjusting the scope to the target,100 yards down range, I was able to put 3 shots inside the diameter of a penny. Mission accomplished, Thank you Bud’s!
