Wasn't as lucky as William. No Colt CAGE code of other identifying markings other than the Cerro forge keyhole marking. Colt markings have been hit or miss for years, so this is not unusual and I would not expect anything other than first rate, honest service from Bud's. It fits my Colt carbine lower like a glove. It did come in a plastic bag with Colt Mfg stickers on it, but I probably won't be paying the additional cash for a genuine Colt plastic bag in the future, though.

Just received the colt m4 upper receiver. I have to say I was hoping I was going to get a genuine colt m4 upper. I can say it is a genuine colt m4 with cage numbers 13629 square forged and M4 above gas tube port. This is my first time buying from buds and I am happy with my purchase. Shipping was quick as well.
