Great pistol! Only issue is the slide is very hard to pull back.

Best gun I own. Accurate, reliable ( no fails), feels good to shoot. Tight. After 300 rds, it's still so tight, I have to manually cock it to chamber a rd. Easy to field strip. PO makes a great piece.

Another great 1911 by Para. Shoots great. No problems during the first 500 rounds. Runs like a good watch and eats just about anything I feed it. It Is turning into be my favorite daily carry.

This 3" stainless steel Para looks fantastic, looks just like the picture. It took me several months to get to the range to test it out, had to wait for the free ammo from Para to show up per the special they were running at the time. Ran 240 rounds through it today to break it in per the lit that came with it, but it didn't need it. The thing shot great from the 1st pull. Accurate, and no, I mean no failures, not one. No problems feeding ball or hollow points, no extraction issues, no magazine issues. Loved shooting it, and with this being my 1st 45 cal or 1911 I was not sure how it would stack up against my 9mm PX4 or 40 cal XDM. Gotta say, I like the 1911 format. Para good job, this is a great firearm! Buds did a good job of processing, shipping, and tracking my order as usual.

Great experience from Bud's, as usual. Ordered Sunday, received Wednesday. Pistol arrived in great condition, save a small scuff on the top of the slide. It was minute enough that I didn't notice when I looked it over at my FFL, but saw it when I took it to shoot. Pistol shoots great! More accurate than I ever will be. Really stiff recoil spring, but that's to be expected in 3" 1911 from what I understand. It loosened up a little after 150 rounds. I had a couple failure to feeds and one FTE, but I'm pretty sure that's due to the stock mags. Only happened with the first round on a full mag each time. Also, I'm still in the "break-in" period, so I'm sure some new WC mags and use will fix all that. Great purchase, at a great price! So fun to shoot that I had trouble putting it down.

As far as Buds, I would recommend charging with your credit card. It may cost a few bucks more, but if you use your ACH checking account transfer, it seems to take forever. After my money cleared Buds account, everything ran very smooth. The gun arrived 12 days after the money had cleared my checking account. So use your credit card. The gun arrived in absolute pristine condition. My FFL has a range, and I ran 150 rounds of mixed ammo through it. It shot without a hitch. The gun is extremely tight out of the box. The quality is top notch and my FFL said that he was going to order one. He is a PARA guy, but even he had not seen one so attractive. This is a sexy gun. I highly recommend this gun.

Very nice unit for the money I paid, especially after $100 rebate. Very accurate, easy on the hands, I like it. Functional parts are high-end like match grade trigger and barrel. Aesthetically up-close it's average some tool marks on the barrel and stamped lettering, from a distance it's really pretty. Shot 100 rounds 2 FTE's early then it cycled fine. Overall for the money it's worth it.

This gun was my first purchase from Bud's and I am happy with the product and service provided by Bud's. As another reviewer stated, this gun was stiff right out of the box. I have over a hundred rounds through it now and it has loosened up and is much easier to rack the slide. I am pleased with this product and would recommend it. It was flawless when I received it and the price was very good. The only negative thing I can say and it does not affect my product rating is Para-USA put the wrong manual in the box. I received a manual for a full sized 1911 where this is a 3" model. The difference came when I wanted to read how to disassemble. The full sized box stated you needed a tool that was provided and I spent a few minutes looking for that tool. I then noticed the manual was not for my gun and downloaded the correct manual. No tools were required for disassembly and it was easy to do. If you are in the market for a 3" 1911 go with this over the cheaper Philippian models you are only saving a few bucks and this has a match grade barrel and trigger, plus dovetail sights. If you add all the upgrades to the cheaper gun it will cost you more than this one and this one is made in the USA which I like.
