Hi Scott, the weight is incorrect. When checking out, where it says 6 lbs you will see a black circle with a question mark inside. Click that circle, and a box will pop up where you can report the incorrect weight. "Your quoted shipping rate is based off product weights and dimensions. Weights are occasionally entered incorrectly which can lead to higher than intended shipping costs. 17½" Long x 1⅛" Wide at the top. Made of flexible polymer that allows you to weave through MOLLE webbing and pull the strap through all at once, instead of doing them one by one with your fingers. There is an eye in the end that holds the snap, so you don't loose it half way. Thanks to this simple tool, I don't hate Molle quite so much, but I still miss ALICE clips. I highly recommend for people with stiff fingers, that remember the world before the internet and Y2K.
