I bought this Sig Saurer 1911 TTT 45 and used it as a competition pistol for 4 years. The purchase was great from Buds & the price was better. MikeW. 6 stars out of 5

Great gun! shoots very well and I love the combat sights it came with.

Based on the good reviews I ordered a TTT. When I picked it up and got it home I noticed that, unlike most of the reviews about Sig Sauer 1911's, the slide on mine had a pronounced rattle to it. It sounded much more like an old military 1911 with a loose fitting slide than a modern one. After working the slide I also noticed that on the left side, in front of the dust cover, there was already wear showing. When I disassembled the gun I saw a an area on the frame inside the left side of the dust cover that looked like it had been buffed or deburred. The workmanship wasn't what I expected at all. I contacted Sig Sauer and they weren't concerned about anything I told them and told me to shoot the gun. The gun functioned fine. The accuracy also was fairly good. With about 200 rounds through the gun I'm watching the left side of the slide show a little more wear each time I shoot it. So, overall, I'm not happy with the workmanship on this particular Sig Sauer nor am I happy with their customer service. I doubt I'll buy another gun from them, especially sight unseen.

This is my first SIG and my first 1911. I was looking at 1911's for a while and I finally settled on this one because I had heard really great things about SIG and I was impressed with the craftsmanship and looks of the TTT. The front and back of the grip are checkered stainless and the finish is flawless. The two tone Black and Stainless looks great and the burled maple is absolutely gorgeous. The sights are easily adjustable and once I got used to it I am super impressed with how accurate it is. I have had it for 2 weeks and have shot at 3 yards, 20 yards, 100 yards (this was a stunt that surprised me) and everywhere in between and I am very impressed at its consistency. I had heard that 1911's can be finicky about ammo so I have put 5 different types through it without a single problem (Federal, Herters, SIG Sauer, Fiochi, LAX Ammo). I saw this locally for $1170 but the gun shop owner was cranky so I didn't buy it. When I saw it on Buds for $787 I couldn't resist. Great gut at a great price.

What a phenomenal experience. I was spending a lot of time online shopping for a new 1911. In CA this proves difficult to find the perfect gun for you that happens to be on our sensless list of approved guns. I came across this sig and was immediately drawn to it. I originally put the CA approved model in my basket ($980). While continuing to shop prior to completing transaction, i came across what appeared to be the same model only $200 less and with the word PROMO in the model number. After additionl research, i found NO difference between midels and purchasedpurchased this gun. The order took almost a week to ship but no worries for me! I stopped by the FFL yesterday to start rhe DROS and hild my new Sig. What a beauty!!! I realize guns are nit jewlery but when your talking 1911...there's a sense of pride. I cant what to show off this gun at the range. I stack it next to any DW or LB. As for BGS....thus was my first of many transactions. VERY please with the transaction!

This is the first 1911 I have owned from SIG. I have 3 others from other manufacturers. The first time i took it to the range I had multiple cycling issues. The ammo used were reloads that were a little long. The other 1911's cycled these without issue. I ran some new loads with a smaller OAL and the gun ran fine. I can only assume that the feed ramp either needed a break in period or was less tolerant the other 1911's I have. Once the gun started to cycle well it was perfect in every way. Fit finish and quality are of course top notch. I would definitely recommend this 1911

All I can say Is WOW!!!! This pistol Is beautiful, sexy and flawless. Took it to the range sraight out of the box. All I did was wipe it down. Shot 100rds of Winchester FMJ 230gr did not have a single issue. Took it home put it away without cleaning it!!!!! 1 month later went back to the range and yes I still have not cleaned it shot reman ammo bought online FMJ 230gr and again not a single issue. Grouping were tight as long as I didn't pull it. Went home and finally clean it and boy did it need it. This is my first sig product and would highly recommend it to anyone. The price was great service was great shipping was fast. BTW I live in CA so the only this that sucked from this and every gun I've ever bought is the 10 waiting period CA makes you go through once it arrives at your FFL DEALER. Thanks Buds😎

This SIG 1911 TTT CA is just beautiful to behold, the nitro finish is pretty smooth, the action is glass-like- very very smooth. I really believed that these are hand-fitted as there is no side-to-side play between the slide and the frame, considering its price here in Buds, you got yourself a very good deal. I went to the range yesterday and shoot 3 different brands of ammo with no FTF/FTE experience and it is amazingly accurate. At night the SIG nightlight is bright and I like the dot over the horizontal bar configuration, and oh, I don't even have to adjust the sight, one jugged dollar hole at 15 yards, and I'm not even that great shooter. This 1911 is comparable to my more expensive Kimber Raptor Stainless II in shootability,action smoothness and accuracy. It may not be a "pure" 1911 because of its external extractor, but hey it works, and works well-no FTE so far.
