EGW HD Savage Model 99 Picatinny Rail 0 MOA

This EGW Picatinny rail was purchased for a Savage 1899 action that had been drilled and tapped many years ago for a Leupold scope base that uses turn-in scope rings to permanently mount scopes. Switching-out scopes was a real chore with this permanent scope mounting setup. I have several scopes I want to use and I needed a better way to switch between them. The EGW rail fits perfectly and has so far allowed me to test four different scopes, easily attaching and detaching the scope rings, already mounted on the scopes. I can now quickly change between low and high power scopes in less than a minute using quick detachable rings. I have other EGW rails on several rifles. They are all high quality, fitting exactly as they should. In the case of this Savage 99 rail I found that Bud's had the best price.
