Brownells Bolt Lapping Tool is a spring-loaded tool that gives
constant, straight-back pressure to keep bolt lugs square against the
receiver while lapping with 600 to 800 grit, silicon carbide abrasive.
Provides better results than mere thumb pressure. The interchangeable
threaded sleeves fit popular actions listed below:
M14/M1A sleeve includes large diameter plunger and special lapping handle required for these models.
Mauser Large sleeve fits large ring Mauser actions.
Mauser Small sleeve fits small ring Mauser actions.
Savage Small sleeve fits Savage actions in all calibers except Rem Ultra Mag (RUM), Rem SA Ultra Mag (RSUM), and Win Short Mag (WSM).
Savage Large sleeve fits Savage actions only in RUM, RSUM, and WSM calibers.
Remington 700 sleeve fits Remington 700 style actions.
