SWITCHBACK HOG FLASHLIGHT RING FOR MODLITE HOG FLASHLIGHTS

The SwitchBack® HOG adds a multi-function finger ring and robust pocket clip to Modlite’s HOG Flashlight. It mounts securely on the light’s tailcap, providing a repeatable grip index during deployment from pocket or pouch, and enhances ergonomics while shooting or searching.

Featuring the same enhanced features as the SwitchBack® 2.0, the SwitchBack HOG Flashlight Ring is the ergonomic upgrade your Modlite HOG tactical flashlight deserves!

FEATURES:

Like all our SwitchBacks, it can be used with handguns or long guns, allowing the user to:
Reliably deploy and index a flashlight from both pockets and pouches, using the SwitchBack’s rigid, but releasable, retention ring.
Employ all traditional low-light techniques such as Neck Index, Modified FBI, and Harries.
Positively retain the light when drawing a firearm, reloading, and addressing a malfunction.
The SwitchBack HOG Flashlight Ring also provides fast deployment and enhanced retention during many activities such as climbing, backpacking, car and home maintenance, and self-defense. If you’re using the Modlite HOG as a patrol light, improve your access and mounting ability with a SwitchBack HOG!
A finger ring that releases under heavy force/torque but can be reset.

INSTALLATION

Installation is simple: Remove the tailcap of the Modlite HOG, place the SwitchBack HOG, then re-screw on the tailcap. If you would like a tighter fit, an O-ring comes with the SwitchBack HOG and can be placed on the last step past the threads, as shown to the right; it is a #018 Buna-N O-ring (1/16″ thick, 7/8″ OD, 3/4″ ID).
