I didn't have any problem with shipping or transfer. The firearm looks nice, 4 clicks as in original COLT. Clicks not that crisp as expected, but still have the old spirit. 100% worth it. Just heads up for the future buyers, it's clone of 1st generation of colt revolvers: 1) the revolver has screw for the cylinder's pin, this model does not have spring pin; 2) the revolver has one piece grip, that makes a but difficult to find an alternative grip on the market.

This model has proven to be high quality and a very fair price, the bluing has held up well, the accuracy is good, and the action has a nice quality lockup. Id happily recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality SAA for carrying on a regular basis.

This is a 4 click gun. Very accurate at the range. Finish is great. It's definitely worth shooting a few blackpowder rounds through just to experience the old west if only at the range.

I am extremely pleased with this Cimmaron (Uberti) P-Model! It is exactly what I wanted. The quality is fantactic and the firearm is extremely well finished. I am so impressed that there is no cylinder drag line. The price was excellent, the delivery was extremely fast and I was shocked at how beautiful this revolver is! I give Bud's Guns an A+ on this transaction!

Hard to review without shooting as just received the Firearm. Initial impressions; Buds fast as usual and proper item. The revolver says C-O-L-T, not U-BERT-TI...and no sloppy Lawyer safety other than the long cylinder pin ( which may be going away) guess one could send it to Turnbull for CCH, but then we are back up to Colt cost and that’s why I bought this one. I already own a 2nd. & 3rd. Gen Colt but the prices nowadays, safe queens.. one bare spot under the hammer screw head and the color case off a bit from Colt. The 4 click issue; sitting next to two Colts, reminds me of Harley. The “ sound” of the Harley and folks that make Bikes “almost” sound like the Harley, well the 4 clicks “almost” sound like the Colt. Guess you could buy colt springs but now that’s really splitting hairs. 2 pound crisp trigger, no creep. If it shoots well, maybe I’ll purchase the 4.75 P Model as this one is 7.5. I wanted the US marked one and they came in and gone the day after I bought this one, figures.. Same as any gun, tighten all screws, clean bore and cylinders, lube and shoot.

Gorgeous revolver, excellent fit and finish, 5 shots leave one large hole in the bullseye. Smooth, crisp action and super trigger break. 4 clicks on the hammer, standard hammer firing pin (NOT floating) with no transfer bar safety - be sure to load only 5 unless you're at the range. The Old Model comes with both the knurled cylinder base pin retaining screw AND the correct recessed cylinder base pin retaining screw. A superb firearm that I plan to be shooting for many years. Uberti beautifully captured the look, feel, function and mystique of the Colt 1873 Single Action Army at about one fourth of the Colt price. Don't pass up this beauty.

Great replica of an original Colt Single Action Army. This one is made by Uberti. This model as of 12/2019 still has the original action with no safety, retracting firing pin or transfer bars that make so many other single action Colt ‘clones’ unauthentic. It has the “4 clicks” when pulling back the hammer. Beautiful, heavy, fun to shoot...this gun’s value exceeds its price.

  • Q: Can .45 Auto Rim ammunition be safely fired in this revolver as .38 Special can in a .357 Magnum?

    Jeffrey, Simple answer. No.
    The rim of the 45 Colt cartridge is .060 thick. The rim of 45 Auto Rim is .090 thick. This is because when the 45 Auto Rim cartridge was developed, for the Colt and S&W Model 1917 revolvers, the space behind the cylinder was .030 more than with most revolvers to accommodate the moon clips that 45 ACP was usually clipped to. The .090 thick rim filled up the extra space so the Auto Rim round would headspace properly in a 1917 revolver.
    There are modifications that can be made to the rear of the cylinder of a 45 Colt revolver, but as they come from the factory, almost every 45 Colt revolver will only have about .060 behind the cylinder and the .090 thick rim of the 45 AR round will not allow the cylinder to close properly.
    I believe Ruger has a model out that will accept both 45 Colt and 45 AR because they have specially machined the rear of the cylinder.
    But the standard, run of the mill 45 Colt revolver cannot chamber 45 Auto Rim.

    the "black powder frame" refers to the fact that it is a replica of a pre Civil War Black power revolver it uses modern "smokeless" 45 Colt (45LC) ammo
