Great starter trap gun. Has its problems but good gun. action is stiff, trigger bad, open lever needs all the way open

I had been using a Beretta over and under to shoot 5 stand at a local range, but decided to get a more appropriate gun for this activity to see if I could improve my score. I decided to try this Stoeger over the much more expensive options which would be the next step up from here. I am very pleased so far. The gun shoulders nicely and is very stable. The raised sighting rail on the barrel is nice, and slopes sharply towards the muzzle, which means that a significantly different sight picture is presented than with many hunting guns, but its good after you get used to it. I liked the idea of the adjustable comb, but I believe it came perfectly positioned for me from the factory. The firing and extractor have worked perfectly so far. BTW, a nice feature is that the spent shell is pushed up so it can be easily removed by hand rather and forcibly ejected onto the ground, a nice feature for 5 stand anyway. All in all, I give this gun a high rating. I understand its considered an "entry level" trap gun, but I can't personally imagine that spending double the cost of this gun would give me much more happiness.
