Hi Michael and welcome. Yes, a 45 degree or 90 degree offset Picatinny mount attached to the top Picatinny Rail puts a light mount out of the sight and optics radius. Unfortunately no this is not new Jersey compliant/legal because it has to many banned features, like the pistol grip, threaded barrel and collapsible stock. Sorry and hope this helps.

No, not compliant in NJ you'd be best off just building a pistol caliber AR, it fairly easy and affordable.

The Just Right Carbine Takedown is semi automatic pistol caliber carbine. Designed to be completely ambidextrous, the JRC provides you with the ability to configure which side you would like the charging handle to be on as well as which side you prefer the brass to eject. Utilizing standard M4/AR-15 parts allows you to easily maintain the rifle, or customize it as you see fit. The buttstock sits atop a standard buffer tube to allow for quick switching, and the fire control group components are also AR-15 standard parts.

Excellent 9mm carbine. I am happy with the grouping I have gotten around my home. If I were to need a longer range weapon, I would, but out to 200yds, this is fine. Most other reviews call for 100yds or so. I love the take down feature. It takes about 30 seconds from back pack to ready fire. The gun is very light, but this can be an advantage for some. I recommend this rifle.

Put a sig Romeo on it, finally took it to the range. It operated without any problems whatsoever. Service from Buds was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a 9mm carbine. And using Buds.

Great product takes down nice and works well with red dot scope. I like that it uses glock mags. All illegal in Ohio. Bought online from Bud's sent to my ffl and everything went great. I'll be buying again from Bud's. Great people and great service.

I ordered the Just Right Carbine takedown model as a range toy. So far I have ran about 400 rounds through it. The wife loves it and it is her favorite rifle to shoot. It has only one failure to eject in 400 rounds. I was only shooting range FMJ ammunition at the time.the casing did not fully eject and could have been ammo related. No other problems with the gun since.

Decent carbine for the price, mag well looser than wanted no matter the brand mag. Breaks down quickly and easily.cpl FTF/FTE with non brass RDS got it so repetitively that I switched to only brass casings then it ran great.

Outstanding product. Took it to the range out of the box, put on front and rear iron sights and ran 500 rds through it without a hitch. Thid puppy has some umph. Nice that it takes Glock mags, even hi-capacity ones. Take down and field stripping just a delight.
