Picked up the gun on 7/1 from my FFL. Very fast shipping with Bud's! Took it to the range on 7/5 using the .45ACP cylinder with new .45ACP ammo. Misfire on very first round. Next couple went off and then two more misfires. Re-loaded and same result. Then tried different ammo with same result. The range gunsmith tried it with his ammo. Nope! Contacted Cimarron and they promptly sent me a return label to send it back for repair. Seem like the firing pin does not consistently lock up like it should, or the spring is weak. We'll see when it gets back. While the service from Bud's and Cimarron has been great, can't say the same for the gun yet, although when it did fire, it was very pleasant to shoot and was dead-on accurate. More when I get it back...

I had forgotten how much I love revolvers. This was a christmas present for my girlfriend (along with the obligatory belt and holster) and she absolutely loves it. There are several nice features about the firearm. First is the hardening around the frame; the colors are gorgeous. As are the walnut handles, it's just an overall beautiful firearm. Next is the interchangeable cylinders. My girlfriend prefers the lighter .45ACP cylinder, while I enjoy the old school Colt .45 cylinder. Honestly though, we keep it mainly .45ACP due to ammo costs.

As always, dealing with Bud's is quick and easy. I received the revolver as promised and took it through the range. I shot about a hundred rounds of .45 Colt and .45 ACP - all mixed brands and loads. The pistol performed flawlessly - no problems what so ever. Nice trigger and I love the finish. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

First off Buds Guns Rocks - Super Fast Shipping as always. The Cimarron P-Model Dual Cylinder is truly amazing, with a perfect fit and a beautiful finish. The gun shoots POA with either the 45 colt or 45 ACP cylinder installed. This is one fun gun to shoot! The Trigger is right at 4 lbs and is smooth with a nice clean break. The hammer is easy to pull and also very smooth. I ordered a Wolf reduced power mainspring and Wolf wire sear spring from Brownell's to smooth the action out even more. I also ordered a new hammer and trigger from Cimarron to turn this bad boy into a Colt 4 clicker (The hammer part # is: A0502002CCH / Price: $92.70 and The trigger part # is: 400010 / Price: $16.48). Please note since this has the floating firing pin it does not have the Colt 4 clicks. It has the correct Colt style cylinder pin with only one notch in it, so by changing the Hammer and Trigger you have an authentic Colt Reproduction. The rear sight is not the small V rear sight, it the same style as the Evil Roy sight with a wider cut, and wider front blade. This revolver is very easy to aim. This Cimarron was so nice I just order a second one in the 4 3/4" barrel length.

This is literally my new favorite gun. It is laser accurate. Beautifully made. The craftsmanship is exquisite and it is just one heck of a fun thing to shoot. I’d highly recommend this brand in any of their models to anyone. I will be buying another version soon to add to the collection.

The gun was delivered as advertised and in a timely manner. However, when I took it to the range the gun would not fire. I tried different brands of ammo and this made no difference. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I called the repair service on the paper that came with the gun (Cimmaron does not repair the guns themselves). The person I talked to was nice enough and sent me the info on how to send the gun back. I was told it would be 3 to 5 weeks once they recieved the gun to get it back to me. The manual that comes with the gun gives instructions for different versions of the same model. The problem is there is nothing on the box to let you know what version you have. I will submit more once I get the gun back. Hopefully it will work.

This is fully what I expect from Uberti. It is beautiful and near perfectly fitted. Did not know about the retractable firing pin but it does not detract at all.

Having a ball shooting this excellent pistol. Cimarron produces great quality firearms. Great service from Buds.
