The Century Arms International Red Army RAS47 is an excellent American Made rifle that will satisfy any AK aficionados' needs. It's constructed using modern manufacturing processes with a 4140 ordnance steel milled receiver and a 4150 chrome moly steel barrel. The barrel is left hand threaded metric 14x1 TPI and has a Chevron style muzzle brake with standard AKM sights. This is a do it all firearm that is a fantastic tool for competition, recreational shooting and hunting. It features a first of its kind AK side mount scope rail that offers you a return to zero capability! The design gives you an improved clamping ability that is four times better than traditional side scope rail mounts and it will improve your sight acquisition for follow-up shots! Other features include and RAK-1 enhanced trigger group with a retaining plate, a heat treated bolt carrier and a bolt hold open notch on the safety. Equipped with Magpul AK polymer furniture, it has a MOE pistol grip, with a Zhukov hand guard and the Zhukov-S right side folding adjustable length stock! This is a good AK, A bit heavy due to the magpul forend (thick heatshield as the barrel and gas tube get hot fast) its pretty accurate, on par with my stag arms model 2T for sure. The extended magazine release is perfect and easy to use.

Great US made AK47. Really fun gun to dip into AK's without breaking the bank on on a real Russian Kalishnakov. Super great price especially because the nice Magpul furniture easily costs over two hundred dollars separately. The rifle is really solid, accurate iron sights. I've run 500 rounds of Wolf hollow point without any issues. I'm not going to bother cleaning it until I get at least a 1000 rounds through it. I do recommend spending another $200 into this rifle. Buy RS Regulate product RS-AK309 side mount. Its expensive but worth every penny. I would recommend purchasing this rifle especially at the price Buds GS is offering it for.

Finally got a chance to take this bad boy to the range today and i am very pleased with its performance. Very accurate right out of the box. I didnt have to make any adjustments to the sights and the pmags ran flawless. I did have a few failures to feed with the cheap 40 round korean mags but im chalking that up to the mags. Overall im very happy with the purchase and i think all she needs is a micro red dot and it will be a sweet little set up.

The fit and finish of this rifle is outstanding! Received the rifle from my FFL and proceeded to clean and grease/oil it. Rifle had no debris inside or corrosion to speak of. Then off to the range. Rifle ran 100% using Fiocchi brass cased ammo. This gun is crazy accurate! I’ve owned other AK variants that were 4 moa at best. This gun was shooting 1.5 moa all day long with a TRS-25 mini red dot sight on a Midwest Industries Clone rail mount. After shooting I broke the gun down for cleaning and saw no abnormal wear on the bolt, carrier, trunnions etc. I am very pleased with this rifle and with Bud’s!

Put about 300 rounds through it so far. Once zeroed in with my bushnell red dot this thing is more on target then my AR. Very fun to shoot as well. I did have some "issue" with the bottom of the bolt carrier leading edge being very tight when dragging across the top of the hammer. This resulted in a tight slide cycle. This went away after about 50 rounds. No damage on the bolt, carrier, or trunion. I do keep my semi auto rifles very lubricated. I think as long as you do this, this thing will last a lifetime. Definitely recommend the rifle and, as always, Buds Gun Shop, for offering one of the best purchase experiences on the web.
