Beautiful gun! I use this as my carry. Feels great in my hand. I have super long fingers, so the grips on this were perfect. I hate when my fingers wrap around the grips and touch, don’t have that issue with this gun. No issues firing.

The SIG P229 ASE (Alloy Stainless Elite) is not only an eye catching weapon, but it is a masterpiece of craftsmanship from SIG. The handling, the balance, the reliability, and the accuracy is that which only top name weapons manufacturers like SIG can produce. Bud’s has been remarkable as well, in shipping and getting each weapon I have purchased timely and with absolutely no delivery or problems with the weapons sent. Love this weapon, and Bud’s is great!!!

This might be the finest handgun I've ever purchased. I traded with Gurney for this purchase and I received exactly what I asked for my trade-in. The P229 is a short-barreled version of the P226, just alot lighter. The P229 can be carried all day long without it pulling your pants down. The SRT (short reset trigger) comes standard on this model and is as advertised. Full disclosure, I put a Grey Guns flat trigger and a Sig Master Armorer spring kit in it before I ever fired it, along with a Nickel hammer, decocker and slide catch. Now it's pretty along with being awesome. It's a sweet shooting sidearm and perfect for self defense carry. Only comes with 2 magazines and that's all the negative I have to say about it. The walnut standard grips are very comfortable and look great on the the alloy and stainless steel finish. I'm thinking about buying another so I can have one to shoot and one to just look at.

What can you say? It's a Sig P229 Elite Talo Edition. This pistol shoots as sexy as it looks. Great service from Bud's, who FedEx'd it to me in 4 days (weekend included).

It's a Sig fit and finish were excellent the wood grips were a little more bulky than your normal Sig grips but manageable. After 200 rds no problems whats so ever. Would buy again.
