Micro slides are made to the tightest allowable tolerances, with barrels machined from stainless steel for superior resistance to moisture. All Micro frames are shaped from the finest aluminum for integrity and strength. In many respects a miniature 1911, among the most important Micro 9 design advantages is a single action trigger with the kind of short, smooth pull that ensures accuracy and builds confidence. The thumb safety, slide release and magazine release are pure 1911 as well. Standard features include a lowered and flared ejection port for flawless ejection and a beveled magazine well for fast, positive loading. Sights are steel – not plastic – and mounted in machined dovetails for additional integrity. Each Micro 9 includes an extended 7-round magazine.

Bought this for my first carry gun and I must have got a lemon. Could not find ammo it would cycle without a problem. Had my gunsmith work on it polishing the feed ramp and machine work. Still nothing. Had to get rid of it. Not dependable.

Love the look and feel of this firearm and bought it to be my EDC. I have had a few issues with the mags dropping the top round in the mag when I drop the magazine but only when fully loaded. If I run -1 no issues. I've read that Kimber just isn't what it used to be as far as QC. But, no failure to feed or fire so far. Definitely recommend but give it 4 stars because I can't run fully loaded mags.

If you like 1911’s you’ll love this. It’s a very well made concealable 9mm. Accurate, easy to shoot. The only thing I wish it had is the same half cock safety hammer setting as a full size 1911. Although the thumb safety works lost fine.
