The Uberti Cattleman II with retractable firing pin is a breakthrough for those seeking enhanced safety with regard to original Old West revolvers without sacrificing the visual authenticity of a 1st-generation Colt.

As any cowboy knows, the safest way to carry a single-action is with the hammer resting on an unloaded chamber. This is true even for the Uberti retractable firing pin design. But in the case of the Uberti design, the risk of accidental discharge is reduced: the firing pin is not locked into the firing position unless the trigger is pulled.

This revolver is absolutely stunning. A great replica of a Colt SAA. However, there are only three clicks, as opposed to the four of a Colt, and it comes very well oiled out of the box; so much so that the plastic bag it was in had oil in it. Just wipe it down before firing it, and you'll be fine though.

Uberti Firearms 1873 Cattleman II Brass Revolver U356210, 357 Magnum, 5.5. I do not regret buying this gun. It is fun to shoot and has very little recoil. I love the solidness of this gun. I bought the cheap ammo for it - tuluammo. It has now problem with it. This gun is beautifully made. All my friends admired it also.

This is a very well made firearm with fantastic fit and finish, and an absolute blast to shoot. Very smooth action and trigger pull. I love having the option to use .38 Special as well as .357 Mag. Highly recommended.

This revolver is crazy beautiful, and shoots fantastic right out of the box.. I like that you can shoot both 357 Mags and 38 Specials. It's like having two guns in one. Dealing with Buds was hassle free and the price could not be beat.
