Fine quality. Tight and accurate. Even ported, she still has a bit of a kick. No jambs no miss feeds, just punching out the middle of the target. AWESOME

Over all decent. The firearm itself is a bit sharp on the edges .When manipulating it you could cut yourself on the slide release but after a good honing session it was good to go works fine so far anyway

First let me state that the buying process went very well. I placed the order late on Friday, and it was at my FFL on Wednesday. I was looking for an affordable 1911 that I could count on. After I received the gun, and was very impressed with the look of it. That evening I did my normal process with any gun I get and tore it down to clean and lube to my standards. I was a little concerned by how dirty the weapon was. The inside of the frame was very dirty with rust. The barrel was in similar condition. definitely discourage anyone from shooting right out of the box. After disassembly and giving it a complete clean and lube, I felt better about the purchase. I took it to the range the next evening, and have to say that I was blown away by how well this gun shoots and feels. The ported slide and barrel, coupled with the weight of the gun makes the 45 caliber round very manageable. Surprisingly accurate right without out the box. I will dial in the adjustable sights eventually, but just wanted to get an initial feel for the gun. I love it. The only problem was the rear sight has a very sharp edge to it, which cut me when I chambered the firs round. Other than that, the shooting experience was great. Very happy with this purchase. This is definitely a gun that is solid and has a lot of great features that you would get on a much more expensive gun. This one of my favorites now. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because of how dirty it was initially. Manufacturer should really ship these soaked in oil to make the customer unboxing experience more pleasant.

Let's start with the bad. Received my FIRST eagle from buds, and upon opening it was a disaster. The barrel bushing, the spring pin, and the slide lock all had rusting occurring internally, the barrel that shows in the ejection port, was rough and showed signs of wear. Upon digging a little deeper, I found an old return slip ☺️ from the previous buyer still in the Iver case! So this firearm was sent to someone, returned and never checked and put back into circulation! THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A NEW FIREARM! Moving forward I didn't accept obviously, I called buds immediately. They sent a return label to my FFL dealer. The only positive note I will add, is that buds was nice enough to send out a replacement before waiting on my return. While waiting on the return I contacted Iver and was flooded with questions and support help! They made me feel a little better about what had took place. Moving on, the replacement shows up the following week, and I again give it a disassemble and check. The rusted internals were not present on this eagle, although the barrel showing in the ejection port was still rough and looked like it wasn't finished. Iver did confirm, they do not spend time on finishing the barrel to a polished mirror like shine, because not everyone wants that mirror look. The firearm feels very good, everything is tight fitting, and there is little movement in the slide when locked up. I've ran about 150 rounds of ball ammo, and gold dot hp through it, with no malfunctions. It is a fire breather with the ports, looks like a dragons nostrils when firing. This was my first 1911 style firearm, and I'm pleased after the initial hiccup and let down, especially for the extras that Iver includes in this price point. Buds did try to make up for the horrendous mistake and gave a small discount on a later purchase.
