Items Like The SPHINX SDP COMPACT 9MM
This is a wonderful pistol, superbly build, exceptionally accurate and beautifully balanced in the hand. Everything is very tight when new; the trigger, slide etc but loosens up with time to be nearly perfect. It is on the same level of quality as my Les Baer and Wilson Combat 1911s....really. Its that good.
I wish Sphinx was still in business and there was an ample supply chain for parts. That could be a problem in the future. I would love a long slide target pistol.
BTW SDP will not easily fit holsters not designed for it, the trigger guard is too large. Dedicated holsters seem hard to come by.
Mine is a lifelong keeper.
