• Q: Does anyone know whether the bolt/bolt carrier are forged or cast on the TAK 47?

  A:

  Zachariah, it is forged on the TAK - 47 same as the Saiga. The Bolt, Carrier and Trunion are milled and/or machined from raw bar stock of alloyed steel.

• Q: Ok so the reciever is Ak , but what about the forend ? will it (mostly) fit available saiga forends?

  Yes, this can be modified with standard AK-47 stocks and accessories. It has an AK based receiver design.
