• Q: I know someone who has an older model trapdoor that cannot use full strength modern ammo. Can this model?

  From what I'm reading the cimarron was more made for cowboy action loads. I really wouldn't recommend any high velocity rounds but standard pressure rounds should be fine. For a more detailed answer I'd contact cimarron at 877-749-4861 or email at, orders@cimarron-firearms.com. hope this helps.

• Q: any chance for this piece to go on 180 days with 10 percent down?

• Q: I would like to know what company actually makes this rifle and in what country it is made. This carbine and the Pedersoli trapdoor carbine have the same pictures at Buds and other than the barrel length the descriptions seem much the same. Does Pedersoli also make the Cimarron trapdoor?

  Hi Gary , The Cimarron trapdoor comes from Uberti. Pedersoli.and Uberti are both owened by Beretta

  The main difference is the Cimarron is 46.5 inches vs the Pedesoli being 41.25 inches in length. The rest is the same
