The new SCOUT V2 is very similar in design to the APEX centerfire rifle,
but without the interchangeable barrel capability. So, for the hunter
who wants a high quality single shot rifle in only one caliber, the
SCOUT V2 is the ideal choice. Sleek, lightweight, and easy to operate,
the SCOUT V2 sets a new standard for affordable single shot hunting
rifles. The SCOUT V2 sports a 25” fluted barrel that is constructed of
416 grade stainless steel. The stocks are lightweight and 100%
ambidextrous, plus they feature CVA’s CrushZone Recoil pad – a real plus
for heavier calibers, like the .35 Whelen. The SCOUT V2 is also
available in a “Compact” version (1” shorter stock and 2” shorter
barrel) – which makes it perfect as a deer rifle for the smaller stature
hunter, or for anyone as an easy to maneuver “truck gun” or “brush
gun.” Caliber offerings in the Compact model include .243, 7mm-08, and
.35 Remington, while the standard length SCOUT V2s are chambered in .35

Best option for straight wall regulated states. Very accurate with Hornady Superformance. Have taken 5 whitetail so far and none made it more than 15 yards. Can be quite destructive on shoulder shots.

This rifle shoots very well. Easy to handle and has an awesome trigger exceptionally good accuracy at this price point.

I love this gun, got it in 444 marlin and its truly accurate out to a hundred yards, haven't had the time yet to reach farther,, but love the weight and its shorter than bolt action, easy to carry and handle, I'm hunting elk with this gun this year and I have the ammo to feed it, mounted a 2x7x32 scope on it and I exspect it to to perform well out ot 250 yards, gotta call cva and see if they will build this in a 300 prc

I am pleased with this rifle. I was looking for an alternative to the lever guns in the 4-figure range. The finish is as described. Workmanship and fit are excellent. Lock-up is tight. Rifle was received promptly.

This 444 Marlin is a very good shooter, very nice action, crisp trigger, and looks just mean with that muzzle brake. Took it out and sighted in, has a vortex 4x12 on it, performs flawlessly. Definitely taking this up to camp this year for deer.

For one thanks buds for doing all you do and also with layaway and shipping. With that being said I’m pretty disappointed in this rifle I just picked the gun up today from my ffl dealer and looked over the rifle and everything seemed to be as advertised and in order well after getting home I attempted to open the breach and noticed the gun being very tight and hard to open well ok so what right whatever. I continue to opened and close the action and it’s literally like 40 grit sandpaper the lock up tolerance is horrid and has shaved off a wear line just from the 3 times I opened and closed it as well the trigger to break the actions open is horrid like it’s almost comical how bad the fit and function of this rifle is I mean for 500 bucks I feel like it’s a decent rifle but not with this quality I received.
