Does this have transfer bar or new safety?

I suggest that you contact cimarron with the UPC and model number and ask the at (1-877-749-4861)

I want the version that has the old style firing pin (on the hammer). I thought this (model MP 420) was that version and MP 522 had the safety bar mechanism. The previous question shown on this listing says this has the safety bar hammer. Is there a Cimarron (or Uberti) model like the original Colt SAA?

William, Buds Customer Service will need to verify which hammer pin the MP 522 has with their Inventory Dept. Cimarron says the MP 522 "This modern day reproduction from Cimarron is true to the original". I don't know why the model number would not identify which firing system each has, which is vital information in my opinion.

I was looking for a 38/40, but do not see one with the old model frame. Do you have the 44/40 in stock?

I ordered this revolver on 08-05 and it was in the hands of my FFL on 08-08. This is a beautiful revolver. The action was smooth. You hear four clicks as you fully cock it. The screw that holds the cylinder pin in place was flush with the frame. Absolutely no complaints. Buds Gun Shop did an awesome job.
