Items Like The PEDERSOLI SHARPS L.RANGE 1874

I bought this gun with the expectation that it would be a beautiful, well made, top quality reproduction of a historic firearm, and I was not disappointed. Pictures of this gun do it no justice it is gorgeous and very high quality firearm that can handle period correct black powder cartridges and new production smokeless cartridges alike. It has operated flawlessly and smoothly for the entirety of the time I have owned it. And after taking it apart for cleaning on several occasions it has the tightest tolerances of any firearm I have owned with no sloo on any of the few moving parts this gun has. I would recommend this gun to any body looking for a sharps reproduction without wanting the wait time and price of a Shiloh

Totally pleased with the Pedersoli 1874 Sharps .45-70 Long Range I purchased from Bud's Guns a few days ago. Bud's staff took great care opening the box and then wiped the excess shipping grease off the gun. Got it home and cleaned it up a bit more thoroughly and then took a good look at it. I'm more than pleased with what I see. The wood to metal fit is excellent. The metal work on the barrel is impeccable with no discernable polishing ripples, machine marks, or rounded edges and the deep blue black finish is absolutely gorgeous. The stock wood isn't highly figured but it is extremely attractive. A Pedersoli tang sight is included in the package as well as inserts for the hooded front sight. I'll try try the Pedersoli tang sight and the stock hooded front sight but will most likely swap them out for better products in the near future. The only niggling complaint I have is that the hammer spur has muddled checkering. It should be quite a bit crisper...but that is a minor detail. Now...if only the nasty weather would clear up I can take this beast out and shoot it!

This rifle is a work of art the wood is beautiful and the fit and finish is perfect I've only got to fire it out to 200 yards with black powder but it shoots great at that distance hoping to get out and stretch his legs past 500 yards cannot go wrong with this rifle
