I finally had a chance to shoot some ammo through this cool shotgun. Before I shot, I , put a sgm muzzle brake,on. Then I took the gun apart. I cleaned out All of the factory rust inhibitor/ oil? Including the puck, then just used Hoppes lubricating oil, not to sparingly. Wow, gun fired flawlessly, using the 5 Rnd mag that it came with only, and was on #3 , gas setting. It took from super cheap ammo, to higher end ammo. Low brass, high brass. My opinion of this shotgun, is good, for the price.

As a 'casual shooter' who has owned a Saiga 12ga., I strongly prefer this 'hybrid' setup from SDS Imports. Just the AR style thumb safety by itself is improvement enough to choose this weapon over the many other offerings. The rear peep/front fiber optic sights are quite good (as in I don't feel the need to upgrade them). The extra step of pinning the rear cover (which the rear sight is mounted to) speaks to me of someone trying to 'cover all their bases' and put the effort into the little details. The hard plastic butt stock needs to go, but they set the weapon up so that it can be easily changed out to the AR style stock of your choice. The adjustable gas plug let me run lighter than advised loads through it, and the outside threads are going to be fun to try different flash hiders and muzzle breaks. At the price point that Bud's offers, this is a fantastic buy!

Shotgun came in a timely manner. Really well built and solid. If you are looking for a slightly different take on the Saiga 12, this os you ticket.

Buds price matched it and shipped it fast. No complaints whatsoever. The shotgun itself takes a little getting used to. Learning to rock the magazine in and operate the charging handle were easy. The weapon looks well assembled and feels solid. It ate high brass and target loads without any hiccups. Solid buy, especially for the price.

Very nice weapon functions real well had a couple shells not eject completely from receiver which always happened on the last shot maybe just a break-in issue. Also bolt will not hold open after last shot could be user error. But overall this product is very well made and a real good shooter. Buds is a above and beyond retailer that has exceeded my needs and my expectations I would recommend them to anybody who wants a quality and competent company to fullfill a transaction with.

I have to say the fit and finish on this shotgun is very good. Took it to the range and fired off several magazines, 5/10 rounders, of Remington Express 00 Buckshot. I had one FTF with the SGM Tactical Saiga 10 round mag on the 2nd round, cleared it and no more problems after that. She kicks a bit but hey it's a shotgun. Love it. As always BUd's did a great job getting it me fast. Keep up the good work.

Bud’s held up their end of the bargain, and shipped me a great weapon. Some things that are “made in China “ are really quite well made. This shotgun is well built, with what appears to be quality steel. The fit and finish is better than I expected for such a “cheap” weapon. At the range, the where a few failures to eject in the first 20 rounds of cheap, low brass, Walmart Federal ammo. After that, for the next 230 rounds, the shotgun function flawlessly. Second time at the range, I used the shotgun, on a dare, to shoot skeet. 100 rounds later, it still shot and cycled like a champ. Turns out, it’s a pretty decent gun for skeet. So far, the only less than stellar comment I can make, is that the rear sight is a little loose on the dust cover. It looks like the hole for the screw that passes through from the bottom was drilled just a hair bigger in diameter than the screw. The result is a rear sight that wobbles, ever so slightly. That being said, who really cares! It shoots great. Almost feels like a Norinco grade weapon ;)

I wanted this because I had the Saiga 12 and liked what it did but not how it did it. I’m much happier with the Cheetah. The bolt handle is on the left, and a bolt lock button right by the trigger. Those two factors beat the Saiga for a right handed user. Beyond that, everything is solid and ergonomic. Saiga mags work, but Promag brand from what I’ve experienced need the lip worn down to fit. The magwell is metal and the mag plastic, so forcing it several times for a couple minutes adapted them fine and they fit more snugly than the factory mag that came with it. I’m extremely pleased with this gun.

Taking it to the range in a couple days but initial observations are all positive. Fit and finish is clean. Feels and looks well built. Receiver metal is of decent thickness. Action is smooth. Trigger break is crisp with no grit. Will update review upon firing.
