Mixed feelings on this one. To start, this is absolutely the most beautiful 1911 I’ve ever seen. The CCH is stunning, pictures don’t do it justice. The fitment is excellent, tight, and blended well. However, there’s a catch: the trigger is 6.5 pounds and gritty. Also the extractor is a mess. Completely out of spec and required a TON of work to get it close.i completely disassembled the pistol and found that the trigger bow was dragging in the track. I cleaned up the trigger bow and adjusted the sear spring to get the trigger to the advertised 4.5 pounds. I shot 100 rounds and it was flawless. For the price you can’t go wrong. It does need a little clean up work but it is truly a beautiful firearm. Buds description says this model doesn’t have front and back strap checkering but the one I received did in fact have checkering.

Recently discovered the joys of 1911 ownership. Bought a few lower priced options, mostly Tisas, great functional pistols. This is next level quality and workmanship, love the Case Coloring and Engraving. Absolutely beautiful, two mags included. Buds does it right.

Standard Fanufacturing is not only known for shotguns but also very high quality 1911's. I am very happy with this purchase. The pistol is even nicer than the picture reflects. Great price and I was truly happy with the speed in which it arrived at K&S Outdoors for the transfer paperwork. Good job "Bud's."

This may be the most beautiful gun I own. The engraving and color case hardening are incredible. Shot 100 rounds through it the day I picked it up and it performed flawlessly.

Absolutely beautiful firearm! I completely amazed of the quality, this gun is built tight. The coloring and engraving is top shelf works. I will definitely purchase another Standard MFG before spending money on one of the well known more expensive 1911 manufacturers. If you were to purchase a 1911 of this quality from the bigger custom 1911 companies you would easily spend 7k. It arrived arrived at my FFL in all it’s splendid spectacular. Fired 400 rounds at my local range and had zero issues. Extremely happy with this purchase.
