Well worth the $90-some; it's quality engineered with tight tolerances. Engage the side-button to swing it open and depress the verticle push button to fold it against the carbine.
Note: it does work with the AR platform (for those running an ARAK-21 upper and other similar types that have a fully integrated recoil assembly) only if you sand down the index tab of your endplate, otherwise it will not mate with the adapter threads. Of course, this will mean your castle nut has to clamp down directly on the folding adapter so be gentle. SB Tactical recommends getting the castle nut hand tightened, and then just a ¼ turn more with the wrench. Use red loctite on the buffer tube cavity if you want it secure -and a tiny bit on the two adapter screws if you shoot a lot.
