It is a bayonet, blade was sharp, comes with a nice hard case. Fits all my ARs and the best part, it fits on my Mossberg 590 retrograde. Makes this purchase all the better because I originally bought this on a whim. Completely worth it. Like always, great process working with buds and fast shipping.
